Michael Bunting was recalled by the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday night, two days after the 23-year-old was sent down to the Tucson Roadrunners.
Bunting has split time this season between the Coyotes and Roadrunners logging one goal in five games with the NHL club and 11 goals in 29 games with its AHL affiliate, the Roadrunners.
He only missed one game, a 2-0 home win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, during his most recent reassignment.
The Coyotes next game is Monday on the road against the first-place Calgary Flames.
A fourth round draft pick in 2014, Bunting in the first player in Coyotes franchise history to wear No. 58.
