The 2019 NBA Draft has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean draft talk is over.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony released an early 2020 mock draft with the order being based on last season’s win-loss records on Wednesday.

Givony has the Phoenix Suns picking No. 3 overall and selecting combo guard Cole Anthony.

The 6-foot-3 guard is committed to playing at North Carolina and was a five-star recruit coming out of Oak Hill Academy in Virginia.

In his only year at Oak Hill, he averaged 19 points, 10.1 rebounds and 10.5 assists per game.

In six games with USA Basketball’s U18 team, Anthony averaged 14.3 points per game and went 8 for 23 from the three-point line.

He was also named a 2019 McDonald’s All-American as a member of the east team.

The Suns still haven’t been able to secure their franchise point guard and that’s why it would make sense for Phoenix to select Anthony.

Another point guard the team could look at in the 2020 draft is point guard Nico Mannion, a local product from Pinnacle High School in Phoenix.

Mannion is currently committed to Arizona and Givony has the Dallas Mavericks selecting him No. 7 overall.

The Suns recently made their pick at No. 11 after trading down from the sixth pick and drafted forward Cameron Johnson.

After trading their only other pick in the second round, Phoenix traded back into the first round to draft guard Ty Jerome.

Jerome joins De’Anthony Melton, Elie Okobo, Jalen Lecque and a potential free agent addition as the point guards potentially on the roster when next season begins.

As for next year’s draft, the team would hope that it’s luck and not a third-worst record in the league helping them get Anthony.
