Was Kyler Murray’s third NFL game his worst? It was certainly his most unique.

For one, the Arizona Cardinals’ No. 1 pick for the first time in his career aggressively used his legs in the running game. Murray rushed eight times for 69 yards.

He also had a career-best game with a completion percentage of 70%. He went 30-for-43 but only passed for 173 yards.

The rookie finished with two touchdown passes and two late interceptions with a handful of sacks taken in a 38-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers at State Farm Stadium.

While there is nuance to the good and the bad, one thing is clear: Murray isn’t close to the team’s biggest problem.

Rudy Carpenter and Kevin Zimmerman of the K1 Podcast break down Arizona’s quarterback. Here’s what they discussed.

2:30 — Murray took eight sacks for 46 yards. How he can improve getting rid of the ball and working in the pocket? How do the Cardinals manage a game while trailing as defenses blitz them heavily?

4:00 — It wasn’t Murray’s best game. But it doesn’t help that the Cardinals are a one-dimensional football team. The running game is not producing.

8:04 — The Cardinals looked good on their first drive of each half, when they were running a scripted offense.

10:44 — Carolina forced Arizona into a dink-and-dunk offense. Was Murray managing the game well? How much did the big drops by Christian Kirk and Trent Sherfield hurt?

15:39 — What are personnel issues hampering Murray and the offense?

19:24 — What went wrong on Murray’s two interceptions?
