The Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball team will join Texas Tech, St. John’s and Cincinnati at the 2020 preseason NIT at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Listed on the event’s website as the NIT Tip-Off, this year’s field features Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Penn State and Syracuse.
Cincinnati is expected to be the fourth team in the 2020 Preseason NIT at Barclays Center, per multiple sources.

Currently, Texas Tech and Arizona are the only two out of the four teams ranked in the AP top 25 at No. 13 and No. 21, respectively.
The Wildcats landed on the preseason ranking after a disappointing 2018-19 campaign, going 17-15 overall and 8-10 in conference play.
Entering the 2019-20 season, Arizona has the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation led by Josh Green, listed No. 8 nationally by ESPN, and Nico Mannion, the No. 9 overall recruit.
Both Green and Mannion were 2019 McDonald’s All-Americans, giving Arizona 26 players in program history to join the school’s basketball team as former All-Americans.
As for the 2020 season, Dalen Terry is Arizona’s sole ESPN top-100 commitment, so far.
