The Phoenix Suns on Monday assigned rookie Jalen Lecque to the Northern Arizona Suns, their G League affiliate in Prescott Valley.

Lecque, 19, makes it 17 players on the training camp roster for the Northern Arizona Suns.

The Suns signed Lecque out of Brewster Academy in New Hampshire after this year’s NBA Draft. Lecque’s vertical leap at this year’s NBA Draft Combine was the highest in two years (43 inches).

A 6-foot-4 and 185-pound guard, Lecque was with the Suns through the preseason and into the first three games of the regular season but did not appear in any regular season game thus far.

Northern Arizona Suns training camp began Monday and their regular season gets underway on Nov. 9.
