Cardinals’ Budda Baker leads NFC free safeties in Pro Bowl fan voting

It’s Week 12 in the NFL, which means there are only five weeks remaining in the 2019 season.
And while the Arizona Cardinals may be on their bye week, that hasn’t stopped free safety Budda Baker from leading the NFC at his position in Pro Bowl voting by fans.
The former second-round pick had acquired 12,950 votes as of Wednesday, according to a press release from the NFL.
Baker has started each of the Cardinals’ 11 games this season and currently leads the NFL in solo tackles (71) and is third in the league in combined tackles (98).

Baker also has one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, four tackles for loss (most of any Cardinals DB) and six passes defensed (tied for second-most on the team) for Arizona this season.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson leads all players in Pro Bowl voting by fans with a tally of 146,171, while Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson leads NFC signal-callers with 115,370 votes.
The Ravens are also the top vote-getters as a team with six players, with the NFC West division rival San Francisco 49ers coming in at the No. 2 spot with four players.
Fans can cast their ballot online until the voting booths close on Dec. 12.
