The Valley will be tuning into a big game on Sunday.

Also, the Super Bowl will be played that day.

Guard Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns will face off against the NBA-leading Milwaukee Bucks and reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo on Sunday at noon prior to the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs playing for the NFL championship.

There will be some added interest to the Suns game nationally the Phoenix guard is included in a Super Bowl cross-sport prop bet on Bovada.

On Friday afternoon, the betting site had Devin Booker points (even) against Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes rushing yards in the Super Bowl (-140). Both had been changed by Saturday evening. Booker odds stood at +150 with Mahomes at -150.

It also offered Antetokounmpo points, rebound and assists total (-130) against receiving yards for Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins (-110), but that bet is no longer available.

Booker is averaging 27.1 points per game and has scored more than 30 in five of the last seven outings. A prolific scorer on his usual night, Booker may also be feeling particularly aggressive after not being named an All-Star.

However, Milwaukee has one of the best defenses in the NBA. Its opponent field goal percentage is a league-low 41.2% and it has the best defensive rating at 102. Its 107.6 points allowed per game is No. 9 in the league.

If there’s one team that can limit Booker, it might be the 41-7 Bucks coming off a loss. The Suns guard scored 29 and 22 points in the two matchups against Milwaukee last year.

Mahomes has rushed for more than 27 yards four times this season, including both playoff games. He has broken the 50-yard mark in each of those four.

The 49ers defense was a middle-of-the-pack group in terms of stopping the run. It allowed 112.6 yards per game during the regular season, which was 17th in the league. However, in two playoff games, San Francisco has only allowed 83 total rushing yards.

Antetokounmpo’s betting line was on Bovada Friday but did not appear to be Saturday.

The reigning NBA MVP is averaging 30 points, 13 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game and has four triple-doubles this season.

If he meets those averages, Watkins would need about 49 yards to reward his bettors.

Watkins has met that total nine times this season, but he has been rather inconsistent: Over his last five games, his receiving totals have been 49, 28, 8, 76 and 114.

With bettors potentially watching the Suns, it gives them a chance to show out for a moderately larger audience than normal against the best team in the league.
