Phoenix Suns fan wins new car after hitting half-court shot

You don’t have to be in the NBA to reap the benefits of making a half-court shot.

One lucky Phoenix Suns fan found that out for himself during Wednesday night’s 102-92 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

“Brad” and his competitor were tasked with having to weave through tires on the court while dribbling, making a layup and then hitting a half-court shot.

The first contestant to complete all three tasks in under 30 seconds would be driving home in a brand new car.

It took Brad a few tries, but he eventually landed the car-winning shot.

He even told Fox Sports Arizona in an interview shortly after that he thought his opponent had won because he looked away while his shot was in the air in order to get another ball in an attempt to get one last shot off — a final try he would not need.
