First-round draft pick Isaiah Simmons made it official with the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, signing his rookie contract with the team.

After reports of the two sides agreeing to terms on Tuesday, the Cardinals tweeted a photo of Simmons actually putting the pen to paper.

They also released two videos of the 21-year-old walking through the team facilities and having a nice little chat with head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

“You ready to roll?” Kingsbury asked him in the video. “Let’s go make it official.”

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said it’s a four-year, $20.66 million deal that’s fully-guaranteed. It has a fifth-year club option and a signing bonus of $12.58 million.

The Cardinals later tweeted photos of the other rookies signing their deals.

Just like that, Simmons, third-round pick Josh Jones, fourth-round picks Rashard Lawrence and Leki Fotu, sixth-round pick Evan Weaver and seventh-round pick Eno Benjamin are part of the team.

An agreement was reached Friday between the NFL and the players’ association regarding opt-outs and salary cap mechanisms for the 2020 season.

Players were also sent an email on Saturday outlining training camp guidelines and dates for COVID-19 testing, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

Simmons looks to build off the success he had in the 2020 College Football Playoff Semifinal at State Farm Stadium where he intercepted a pass as a safety with Clemson, en route to helping the team to a National Championship.
