The Arizona State Sun Devils are still on the outside looking in when it comes to the Associated Press’ latest top-25 football poll.

The Sun Devils, who play USC in Los Angeles on Saturday in their season opener, are one of three Pac-12 teams in the ‘others receiving votes’ portion of this week’s poll.

The Oregon Ducks are still the top-ranked team in the conference, sitting at No. 14 overall in this week’s poll.

The Sun Devils’ opening week opponent slides in at No. 20 in this week’s rankings as the second and final Pac-12 team included in the top-25 this week.

The Clemson Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide maintained their top-two spots in the poll, while Ohio State jumped up to number three this week, replacing Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish fell one spot to No. 4 this week, followed by the Georgia Bulldogs and Cincinnati, who beat Memphis 49-10 on Saturday.

Kansas State and Penn State both fell from the top-25 this week after losing to West Virginia and Ohio State, respectively.
