The Arizona Cardinals announced the release of tight end Evan Baylis and linebacker Reggie Walker on Saturday.
Both had been elevated to the team’s active roster for the Cardinals’ Thursday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Baylis joined the Cardinals practice squad on Sept. 29.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound tight end spent training camp with the Green Bay Packers after playing in five games with them last season, where he recorded three special teams tackles.
He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans in 2017, appearing in one game with them in his rookie season.
Walker also has bounced back and forth between the practice squad and active roster after being signed by the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State University during the offseason.
The linebacker recorded one solo tackle this season that came in Arizona’s 38-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 19.
