Arizona Cardinals sign tight end Seth DeValve to practice squad

The Arizona Cardinals signed tight end Seth DeValve to the practice squad on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound pass catcher entered the league as a Cleveland Browns fourth-round pick in 2016.
DeValve has played in 53 games (16 starts), spending time with the Browns and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Over the course of his career, DeValve has caught 60 balls for 736 yards and four touchdowns.
The former Princeton Tiger played a total of three seasons with the Browns. He later joined the Jaguars in 2019, appearing in 12 games (six starts).
His best season came in 2017 when he registered 33 of his 58 targets for 395 yards and a score.

This season, DeValve was a part of the Carolina Panther’s practice squad before getting released on Nov. 17.
With the DeValve addition, the Cardinals have signed six players to the practice squad this week, while releasing two.
DeValve joins fellow tight end Evan Baylis, defensive linemen P.J. Johnson, Daylon Mack and Stacy McGee, and linebacker Reggie Walker.
