When the Arizona Cardinals take the field against the Rams on Sunday, players will be sporting custom-designed cleats displaying the causes most important to them.

Across the league, players are partaking in the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” initiative this week to raise awareness for various charities and causes.

Running back Kenyan Drake’s cleats feature the Phoenix Children’s Hospital logo and represent his desire to raise awareness for pediatric illnesses.

“I just want to be able to represent something that is near and dear to me,” Drake told reporters via Zoom. “Kids have always been at the forefront, whether I’m working with PCH or the Boys and Girls Club or Smile Train or a number of any other endeavors that I partake in, I just want to make sure that I put positive energy and vibes into the youth.”

Quarterback Kyler Murray is supporting Call of Duty Endowment, which helps veterans transition to civilian life after their military service, with purple camouflage cleats.

A father of one daughter, running back Chase Edmonds’ pink cleats support Girls Inc., a nonprofit that focuses on empowering young women.

Defensive tackle Corey Peters will be sporting blue and black cleats that represent his own charity, Peters Education Enrichment Project.

Rookie defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence is raising awareness for childhood cancer with his St. Jude Children’s Hospital kicks.

After the game, players have the option to donate their cleats to the NFL’s auction for fans to bid on. All proceeds from sales go to the players’ respective causes.
