Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis left Game 6 of the opening-round series against the Phoenix Suns at the Staples Center with 6:35 left in the first quarter.
He was ruled out for the rest of the game, per the Lakers.
Davis started Thursday night’s contest after missing Game 5 due to a strained left groin.
The 28-year-old was moving gingerly in the opening six minutes, rarely going inside the arc on the offensive side of the floor.

On a play where Davis was fouled by Suns guard Devin Booker, the Lakers forward was seen grimacing and grabbing at his injured groin.
A few plays later, Davis went down near the Lakers’ bench and the team intentionally fouled in order to bring him to the locker room.
He had no points, one assist and one rebound in 5:25 minutes played on the night.
The Suns won the game 113-100 to win the series 4-2 and will advance to play the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals.
