It’s no secret Arizona State quarterback Jayden Daniels is considered a dual-threat, and the junior signal caller put that label to good use in the Sun Devils 35-13 win over the Colorado Buffaloes Saturday night.

Daniels was effective with both his arm and his legs in the Arizona State’s Pac-12 opener. Efficient through the air, ASU was able to move the ball with the pass game before finishing drives with the run.

Daniels finished going 18-of-25 passing for 236 yards. He didn’t have a touchdown pass, however, he did add two scores with his legs.

Speaking of running, the Sun Devils quarterback was once again heavily involved in the ground game with running back DeaMonte “Chip” Trayanum still sidelined with a foot injury.

To go along with his two touchdown runs, Daniels had 75 yards on the ground.

The Sun Devils had 434 total yards of offense Saturday night, exceeding the 400-yard mark in every game so far this season.
