The NBA released a list of the top players of all time for its 75th anniversary of the league, one that included Phoenix Suns players Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Jason Kidd.

Although a panel of 88 total voters got together to decide the top 75 players, due to a tiebreaker, 76 players were selected.

The panel was a group of current and former NBA players, coaches, as well as basketball journalists and executives.

The list does not rank the players in order, rather groups them in the top 76 all-time. Some of the notable players left off the list include Dwight Howard, Klay Thompson, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady.

Paul, the current Suns star point guard, has only spent one year with the team but helped lead the team to its third-ever championship appearance.

Nash starred in Phoenix for 10 years in two different stints. He won back-to-back MVPs and led Phoenix to three Western Conference Finals appearances.

Barkley only spent four years in Phoenix but was a part of an important time of basketball history for the Suns. He won his only MVP award in 1993 and helped lead the Suns to their second championship appearance and first since 1975-76.

Kidd spent five seasons in Phoenix. He led the league in assists per game three times, and the Suns made the playoffs all five seasons but only won one playoff series.

O’Neal spent two seasons in Phoenix, making the All-Star Game once and winning All-Star Game MVP.
