They may be on a bye, but that hasn’t stopped the Arizona Cardinals from tweaking the roster.

On Tuesday, the Cardinals officially released third-string quarterback Chris Streveler after he spent the last year and a half with the team.

That spot is being filled by quarterback Trace McSorley, who was officially signed off the Baltimore Ravens practice squad on Tuesday.

Across seven career games with the Cardinals, Streveler completed 68% of his passes (17-of-25) for 141 yards and one touchdown to an interception.

In what would be his final action with the team in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, Streveler completed six of his nine throws for 36 yards in relief of Colt McCoy, who was starting in place of Kyler Murray.

McSorley entered the league as a Ravens sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft after throwing for at least 2,530 yards and 18 touchdowns in each of his four years at Penn State.

In three career games, McSorley is 3-for-10 for 90 yards and a touchdown.

The Cardinals also re-signed long snapper Beau Brinkley and running back Tavien Feaster to the practice squad.

The two players were released Monday following a Saturday promotion from the practice squad to the active roster.
