The Arizona Cardinals open as betting favorites when they host the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium for Monday Night Football.

As of gameday morning, Arizona (10-2) sits as a two-point favorite, according to FanDuel and DraftKings sportsbooks. The odds opened around -2.5 to -3 in the Cardinals’ favor at many other services, and they remain there at sportsbooks recorded by OddsShark.com.

The Rams are 1-5 against the spread in their last six games.

The Cardinals have gone just 2-6-1 versus the spread their last nine primetime outings, according to OddsShark.com. However, Arizona is 9-3 against the spread this season.

The over/under for the Monday Night Football showdown between NFC West foes is 51 points at FanDuel.

How they’ve done lately

Los Angeles (8-4) had lost three in a row to the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers before getting on the winning track by blowing out the Jacksonville Jaguars, 37-7, last week.

Arizona has won two in a row and last week returned from the bye with a healthy quarterback in Kyler Murray and a relatively healthy DeAndre Hopkins. The receiver played about three-quarters of the snaps last week as the running game took priority in rainy, cold weather in Chicago. The Cardinals beat the Bears, 33-22.

What’s changed since their first meeting

The Cardinals won the first meeting with the Rams in Week 4, 37-20, on the road in California.

Both the Cardinals and Rams have made significant roster additions since then.

Arizona acquired starting tight end Zach Ertz via a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, and in six games with his new team, he’s tallied 23 catches for 279 yards and three touchdowns.

Los Angeles signed receiver Odell Beckham Jr. after he was released by the Cleveland Browns. Through three games, he has nine receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns.

The Rams also traded with the Denver Broncos to land pass-rusher Von Miller.

In three games, he has nine tackles and, according to Pro Football Focus, eight quarterback pressures without a sack.

While the production hasn’t been obvious for Miller, his presence could be helping interior lineman Aaron Donald, who is coming off what PFF calls his best statistical performance of the year: seven pressures, two sacks, a forced fumble and three tackles.
