With long snapper Aaron Brewer back from the injured reserve, the Arizona Cardinals released LS Beau Brinkley on Tuesday, the team announced.

Additionally, Arizona released linebacker Nate Hall from the practice squad.

Brinkley was originally signed to the practice squad back on Nov. 12 after the Cardinals placed long snapper Aaron Brewer on injured reserve with a broken arm suffered in Week 9’s win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Brinkley was eventually elevated to the active roster ahead of the Carolina Panthers matchup in Week 10.

The long snapper played a total of three games for Arizona.

In the team’s 23-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11, Brinkley recorded 10 special teams snaps (37%), his most in a Cardinals uniform.

The 31-year-old Brinkley entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Tennessee Titans in 2012.

He played nine seasons with the Titans, snapping in all 128 games between 2012-19.

Hall was added to the practice squad last Tuesday. He played 10 games for the Houston Texans in 2020.
