Following last year’s epic collapse to end the season, a lot of the focus and criticism shifted toward Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

From questioning his schematics or ability to adjust midseason, many felt Kingsbury was in over his head.

But this offseason, the head coach took it upon himself to add a few more voices into the mix from within, promoting quarterbacks coach Cam Turner and assistant wide receivers coach spencer Whipple to co-pass game coordinators.

Arizona also moved up Shawn Jefferson to the role of associate head coach on top of his duties as wide receivers coach.

On this episode of Cardinals Corner, an Arizona Sports podcast, Cardinals reporter Tyler Drake and Erik Ruby discuss if any of the recent coaching promotions could play a factor in Kingsbury’s evolution as a coach.

Should uplifting different voices on the staff relieve any concern for the Cardinals offense without DeAndre Hopkins?

And which player benefits the most?

Drake and Ruby break all of that down and also take a look at the first three weeks of the Cardinals’ season.

Arizona faces a gauntlet of Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes, Las Vegas and Chandler Jones and the reigning Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams.

Will the Cardinals get a single win over the first three weeks?

Are they set for some easy wins after the gauntlet?

All that and more on Cardinals Corner.
