Calling Mr. Rodney Hudson.

The Arizona Cardinals starting center has not been with the team for any of the voluntary OTAs over the past few months and most recently was absent on an unexcused basis at mandatory minicamp.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury didn’t divulge much when it came down to the situation, saying they were working through something with him.

Teammates Kelvin Beachum and Justin Pugh didn’t dive too much into what’s going on behind the scenes, but shared their support for their teammate.

Could Hudson be contemplating retirement? Is it a contract issue?

Arizona Sports’ Cardinals reporter Tyler Drake and afternoon contributor Erik Ruby discuss the magnitude of potentially losing a player of his caliber and try to make heads and tails of the situation.

They then turn their attention to the duo of Isaiah Simmons and Zaven Collins and where they stand as the team’s starting inside linebackers?

After Collins’ comments on potentially not being the full-time playcaller in the middle, what does that say about his NFL development?

And while Simmons prides himself on being a mult-positional athlete, is working at other positions stunting his growth at the one spot he was drafted to take?

Drake and Ruby discuss that and more on the latest episode of Cardinals Corner, an Arizona Sports podcast.
