Arizona State Sun Devils left guard LaDarius Henderson has accepted an invitation to the 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl.

The bowl, which is college football’s oldest All-Star game, will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 2.

Henderson has been ASU’s best offensive lineman this season despite missing the last three games due to a finger injury that he sustained in the 45-38 win over then-No. 21 Washington.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound senior has played every position except center in his tenure in Tempe.

Last season saw Henderson start all 13 games at left guard and only miss 12 of the offense’s 813 total snaps on the year.

In that time, the offensive lineman only allowed 10 quarterback pressures in the regular season, which tied for the fourth-fewest among all guards in the Pac-12 and ranked in the top 50 in the FBS.

He also gave up just one sack, good enough to be tied for No. 38 among all FBS guards.

Henderson began his Sun Devil career at left tackle as a freshman at the age of 17.

That 2019 campaign saw him make his college debut in the upset road win over then-No. 18 Michigan State en route to making nine consecutive starts at left tackle, with his 10th coming in the Sun Bowl victory over Florida State.

Henderson turns 21 in December before he gets ready to call it a career at ASU and transfers to Michigan.
