Phoenix Suns guard Duane Washington Jr. (hip) will join three rotation players on his team who will not suit up Monday against the Dallas Mavericks.

Point guard Chris Paul (heel soreness) along with forwards Torrey Craig (groin strain) and Cam Johnson (meniscus recovery) remain out for Phoenix.

The Suns face a Mavs (11-11) team that will have forward Christian Wood, who is Dallas’ second-leading scorer behind Luka Doncic and was questionable with a non-COVID illness.

The Suns (16-7) also list forward Jae Crowder on the injury report as he remains away from the team as it looks to trade him.

With Johnson and Craig out following Crowder’s unofficial departure, Dario Saric has entered the rotation in a starting role for the past two games. He played 21 minutes in each of those games and scored a season-high 17 with three rebounds and two assists on Sunday.

Suns head coach Monty Williams has gone deep into his frontcourt options lately, playing reserves Ish Wainright, Josh Okogie, Jock Landale and Bismack Biyombo.

In the backcourt, Washington has been in and out of the rotation since Paul’s injury on Nov. 7. Washington did play briefly in a blowout of the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday as Williams rested the starters in the fourth quarter.

Phoenix will start Cam Payne and Devin Booker at guard, with Landry Shamet and Damion Lee garnering minutes behind them.
