Suns’ Grayson Allen, Isaiah Livers to be re-evaluated after All-Star break

Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen (knee) will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break, coach Jordan Ott told reporters Saturday.

Ott also said two-way forward Isaiah Livers (shoulder) will be re-evaluated after the break. Both players left Thursday’s loss to Golden State.

The All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 15. Phoenix’s first game after the break is on Feb. 19, a trip to San Antonio to face the Spurs.

Allen came down and landed on Warriors guard Gary Payton II’s foot while attempting to secure a rebound with just more than three minutes remaining in the game.

Allen was able to walk off the floor without additional assistance, but immediately went into the locker room and did not return.

He finished with 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes.

In his third season in Phoenix, Allen has played in 35 of the Suns’ first 52 games before their game against the 76ers on Saturday night. He already missed time with a quadriceps injury in November and an illness and right knee injury in December.

He is averaging 17 points, three rebounds and four assists per game, while shooting 41.8% from the field and 36.9% from 3.

Livers suffered a left shoulder sprain on Thursday in three minutes of game action. The fourth-year pro has played in 29 games this season, averaging 2.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.1 minutes played per game.
