The Arizona Cardinals signed cornerback Quinton Newsome on Friday and placed cornerback Jaden Davis on injured reserve.
Newsome spent parts of the last two seasons on the Denver Broncos’ practice squad after entering the NFL as an undrafted rookie out of Nebraska in 2024.
Newsome played 10 games with the Houston Gamblers in the United Football League this spring, registering 43 tackles, a half-sack, four passes defensed, a forced fumble and a recovery.
In four seasons at Nebraska, Newsome registered 134 tackles, 17 passes defensed, three sacks and an interception.
