Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals’ starting offense take just 1 drive to find the end zone vs. Raiders
Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. gave fans something to cheer for early on in Thursday's game against the Raiders.

A lot of eyeballs were locked on how the Arizona Cardinals’ starting offense would come out swinging against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Not only does Thursday night represent the first time head coach Mike LaFleur is rolling out the first-team unit, it’s also the first instance Jacoby Brissett gets the keys to the offense in a game setting after playing catch up this training camp.
Through one drive, there was a lot of good to build off of, especially coming from wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
Driving 73 yards on 10 plays, Arizona answered Las Vegas’ opening scoring drive with one of its own.
Brissett led the charge, going 5-for-5 for 44 yards and touchdown strike.
Most of those yards came from his connection with Michael Wilson, who reeled in a pair of catches for 23 yards.
Kendrick Bourne also flashed his potential out of the slot with a 12-yard catch to move the chains.
Jeremiyah Love and Tyler Allgeier showed off the potential one-two punch they’re forming, too.
But it was Brissett’s seven-yard touchdown throw to Harrison that ended the drive on a high note.

Harrison has been able to separate better than anyone this camp. He just needs to catch the rock consistently.

It wasn’t all perfect
If there’s one area LaFleur is going to want cleaned up, it’s the pair of false start penalties Arizona was dinged for.
Offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo was flagged first before tight end Teagan Quitoriano picked up another.

Mike LaFleur play calling and scheming is making everyone in the NFL re-evaluate the true talent level of the Cardinals roster starting with MHJ. The separation he's getting from DBs is light years greater than anything he got while Drew Petzing. Tonight all attempts by the Raiders to cover MHJ failed horrifically.
Last year I remember numerous Cardinals fans who complained about how horrible Petzing's play calling was, which I totally dismissed at the time. Mea Culpa!!
What you've seen in 2 Pre-Season games, is just how elite a play caller Mike LaFleur is.
Tonight I've laid down a bet that the Cardinals win total would be well over 4.5 games.
I hope this isn't another Jonathon Cooper type of situation.
