GLENDALE — Arizona Cardinals safety Dadrion Rabbit Taylor-Demerson is questionable to return against the Dallas Cowboys with a rib injury.
Taylor-Demerson went down late in the first quarter after a big collision with Zack Kuntz. Taylor-Demerson was also flagged for unnecessary roughness for the hit on the tight end.
The safety remained on the ground after the impact before trainers came out to check on him. He eventually walked off under his own power.
He was evaluated in the blue medical tent before heading to the locker room.
Taylor-Demerson entered Saturday’s tilt battling veteran Andrew Wingard for the starting safety spot opposite Budda Baker.
Wingard has a leg up in the competition after a strong training camp, though Taylor-Demerson remains a key cog in the rotation, especially in three-safety sets.
Taylor-Demerson is the second questionable Cardinals player of the night, joining punter Blake Gillikin.
