Spivey caught three passes for 36 yards before his exit in Saturday’s game.
Losing Spivey for the rest of the year would be a tough blow to Arizona as he’s the leading Wildcats wide receiver this season with 22 catches for 314 yards and four touchdowns.
Arizona was left shorthanded on offense after Saturday’s game. In addition to losing Spivey, the Wildcats also saw wide receivers Gio Richardson and Chris Hunter leave the game early with injuries and did not return.
Before the game, Arizona running back Ismail Mahdi and linebacker Max Harris were both announced as unavailable due to their eligibility stemming from a court ruling on Friday.
Isaiah Mizell, Brandon Phelps and R.J. Mosley all started at wide receiver in the second half for the Wildcats. Mizell led the Wildcats with four catches for 67 yards, while Powell and Phelps each caught a touchdown in the win.
