Character Counts: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and his brother surprise mom with new house

Arizona basketball fans are well aware of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson’s loving personality. That held true when Hollis-Jefferson and his brother Rahlir surprised their mother with her new home.
Hollis-Jefferson said in the video that he’s always been talking about the day when he could buy his mom and grandmother a new home.
To make it even more special, their mom had the surprise on her birthday.
Hollis-Jefferson won over Arizona fans with his hardworking, physical and fun to watch style of play in Tucson. He spent two years with the Wildcats before being drafted in the first round by the Brooklyn Nets this summer.
He will make his NBA debut on Oct. 28 against the Chicago Bulls.
