Jake Anderson is a former web content editor and reporter for arizonasports.com and has been at Bonneville Phoenix since November 2018. He primarily covers the D-backs, ASU football/basketball and Phoenix Rising FC, and is also a member of the USL National Media Panel. He was raised in Arizona after moving to the Valley as a baby in 1995. He graduated from Notre Dame Prep High School and attended Arizona State University for sports journalism before graduating from Paradise Valley Community College with firefighting and EMT certificates. After a quick hiatus from journalism to pursue firefighting, Anderson attended Scottsdale Community College for journalism before joining Bonneville Phoenix. He interned for Sun Devil Athletics Media Relations for three years (2013-16), as well as worked for Arizona Cardinals gameday media relations for seven years (2014-2020).
