The Arizona Cardinals have a few different avenues to traverse when it comes to their first-round pick in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

With numerous needs on both sides of the football, Arizona has an opportunity through the draft to remedy some of its holes on the roster, especially when looking at the first-round talent.

And when Arizona is officially on the clock, what positional need does the team address with its first pick?

Cardinals reporter Tyler Drake and Erik Ruby give their takes on which position should be targeted and who stands out among the top crop of draft prospects in the opening round.

The duo also touch on the team’s latest signing of tight end and depth piece Stephen Anderson as well as taking a closer look into former Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams and his reported visit to Arizona recently.

Would a signing of Williams’ caliber change fans’ perspective of how general manager Steve Keim and the Cardinals have navigated the offseason so far? Drake and Ruby discuss!
