Canyon View’s Kaylani Tucker leads teams on the field and in business

Canyon View High School senior Kaylani Tucker was elected Arizona State President for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) in July. She is the first student from the Agua Fria High School District to ever earn the honor.

It’s one of several reasons Tucker is one of 10 finalists for Arizona Sports’ Character Counts Scholarship, presented by Parker & Sons.

Since her freshman year, FBLA has been a part of Tucker’s life. She’s a four-time regional winner, two-time state finalist and has twice competed at the national tournament.

Athletically, Tucker has been a dual-sport athlete since her junior year, playing flag football and throwing javelin on the track and field team. She was named the 2024 Region Defensive Player of the Year in flag football and won state championships in both flag football and track and field her junior year.

Tucker is active throughout campus beyond her athletics and work in FBLA.

She is a National Honor Society member, a part of her school’s freshman mentorship program and an award-winning content creator for Canyon View’s film and TV program.
