American College Football Comes to Wembley Stadium
The first-ever Union Jack Classic brings Big 12 Conference football to London when the Arizona State Sun Devils face the Kansas Jayhawks at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. BST.
The game marks the first FBS college football game played in England and is part of a multi-year agreement between the Big 12 and the Union Jack Classic organization to stage conference games on British soil.
Kansas is the designated home team for the conference matchup.
What to Expect
The Union Jack Classic is more than a game. Organizers are billing it as a full-scale celebration of American college football culture, complete with tailgate parties, marching bands, cheerleaders and a halftime show — all on one of the world’s most recognizable stages.
“We can’t wait for British fans to experience the thrill and excitement of a college football game,” Union Jack Classic Chairman and CEO Brian Dubiski said. “It will be an event like nothing else they have ever been to.”

Charity Partner
The Union Jack Classic has partnered with the Pink Bows Foundation as the event’s official nonprofit. The foundation was established in memory of Madison Dubiski, who died during the 2021 Astroworld Festival in Houston. It works to improve safety at live events through education, policy change and on-site resources, including a designated safe space at Wembley.
