GCU’s Jaden Henley signs with Detroit Pistons

Grand Canyon guard Jaden Henley has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Detroit Pistons.

Henley went undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft held this week.

The 6-foot-7, 200-pound guard out of Ontario, California, played one season for GCU after prior stops at UNLV (2024-25), DePaul (2023-24) and Minnesota (2022-23).

With the Antelopes, Henley averaged 17.7 points on 46.6% shooting and 26.8% from 3-point land. He added 5.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals across 31.4 minutes per game. He set career highs in points, shooting percentage, rebounds and assists. He tied his previous high mark for steals.

Developing his perimeter shooting will be among the biggest improvements needed at the next level.

He now joins a Pistons team that is coming off a run to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs where it fell in seven games to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Detroit has since traded away big Isaiah Stewart, while adding guard Isaiah Joe in another move.

It also brought in guard Ebuka Okorie (No. 17 overall) and Ugonna Onyenso (No. 53) through the draft.

What is an Exhibit 10 contract?

A non-guaranteed, one-year contract at the league minimum.

It can be converted into a two-way contract ahead of the regular season.

The contract also gives the Pistons Henley’s G League rights.
