Arena Football is coming to Tempe, as the Arizona Juggernauts will be playing at Mullett Arena this year for their debut season in the International Arena League.
The IAL’s 2026 season will include 10 teams that each play a 12-game schedule.
The Juggernauts will play their six home games at Mullett Arena, where 8-on-8 football will be played on grass inside the complex shared by the G League Valley Suns and Arizona State men’s hockey.
The team’s head coach is Jay Allen and its general manager is Garret Macrone.
Arizona’s Arena Football team will play its first home game on May 2 against the Las Vegas Rockers and continue its season throughout the summer.
The rest of the Juggernauts’ home schedule includes games against the Cincinnati Slingers, Pennsylvania Benjamins, Düsseldorf Warriors and the Utah Great 8’s.

I bet this league doesn’t even make it through its inaugural season before shutting down.
Rattlers are still playing, in the IFL at the Glendale arena. But yeah, I agree it's not quite the same as the old Arena Football League games downtown.
I still miss the Rattlers. They were always a fun night out.
