The final day of the 2022 WM Phoenix Open continued to deliver on Sunday, with Carlos Ortiz getting in on the action at the famous No. 16 hole at TPC Scottsdale.

On Saturday, Sam Ryder sent the crowd into a frenzy with a hole-in-one. A day later, Ortiz did just the same.

Sunday’s pin location for Ortiz was a bit further than Saturday’s for Ryder. The ball took a few hops on the green before finding the edge of the hole.

The crazy crowd at the 16th hole saw two aces in just as many days. The fans had been waiting since 2015 to see a hole-in-one at the Stadium hole, when Francesco Molinari did so.

Much like Saturday, Ortiz’s ace turned the WM Phoenix Open crowd into a beer shower and littered the No. 16 green with empty cans once again.

Ortiz moved to 7 under for the tournament after the ace.

He followed the hole-in-one by driving the green on the short Par 4 17th hole, where he then made his putt for Eagle.
