The Savannah Bananas are coming to Chase Field for the first time ever in 2027.
Banana Ball will travel to 79 stadiums across 75 cities during their 2027 tour, and that will include the Diamondbacks‘ stadium on May 14 and 15.
The tour will stop at 23 MLB ballparks and 10 football stadiums as the league continues to grow.
The Savannah Bananas will face the Party Animals at Chase Field. The game time is yet to be announced.
Getting a seat at a Savannah Bananas game can feel a bit like snagging a golden ticket.
Every Banana Ball ticket is handed out through a random lottery, that is open now through October 31. Winning the lottery gives you the opportunity to buy a ticket to the game that usually sells out, even at major ballparks.
Who are the Savannah Bananas?
The team plays in the Banana Ball Champion League, which now consists of six teams: Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Long Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns.
The league plays an entertainment-based version of baseball, where scoring is based on a points-per-inning system rather than runs scored in traditional baseball. The popular modified version of America’s greatest pastime is meant to be fast-paced and encourage fan involvement.
The game has a two-hour time limit, and some of the entertaining rules include no bunting, no walks, no mound visits and fans can catch foul balls for outs.
The Savannah Bananas have also gotten plenty of celebrities involved in their entertaining brand of baseball. From WWE superstar John Cena and Atlanta Falcons star Bijan Robinson to country music star Kane Brown and the Jonas Brothers, Banana Ball has brought many stars to their game for performances and to participate.
