Bird attacks golf ball at British Open

Apparently golf is for the birds.

This gives a new meaning to getting a “birdie” on the hole.

OK, that’s about all we could come up with in a short amount of time. So let’s get to it.

The British Open is going on at St. Andrew’s in Scotland, and a bird decided to get in on the action.

Henrik Stenson put his tee shot on the 14th hole in the fairway, but a bird decided to try and eat his ball.

Needless to say, the bird was unsuccessful. When asked for thoughts on what happened, quoth the raven, “Nevermore.”
