Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks would beat Trevor Bauer in a rap battle

The Mavericks big three are a bit out of sync. Well, they’re certainly no ‘N Sync. But at least they’re not another rapping Trevor Bauer.

Here, Dirk Nowitzki, Monta Ellis and Chandler Parsons throw it back with a tribute to 1980s hip-hop group Run DMC (Dirk, Monta, Chandler — get it?) and it’s actually enjoyable. Dirk clearly knows he’s goofy and embraces it, albeit with no flow. And the three wear DMC-style outfits, chains, top-hats and all.

Now, even if you disapprove of the try, you have to admit — your ears aren’t bleeding as bad as they did when you first heard ‘Gutter to the Grail.’ And Run DMC officially approves:
