D-backs’ Blaze Alexander day-to-day after hit by pitch vs. Twins
Diamondbacks utility man Blaze Alexander was removed from Sunday's game against the Twins after being hit by a pitch in the fourth inning.

Arizona Diamondbacks utility man Blaze Alexander was removed from Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Twins after being hit by a pitch in the fourth inning.
Alexander suffered a left elbow contusion and is considered day-to-day, manager Torey Lovullo told reporters postgame.
After striking out in his first plate appearance, Alexander took a 89 mph sinker to the left elbow from Twins righty Bailey Ober.

After being looked at by Lovullo and the athletic trainer, Alexander stayed in the game to run and was seen visibly hanging his arm while running the bases. He would score via a James McCann three-run home run that would give the Diamondbacks a 4-2 lead in a 6-4 win.
He was removed from the game prior to the bottom of the fourth inning for Ildemaro Vargas.
Alexander entered Sunday’s game hitting 2-for-10 in the series, including two RBIs in the D-backs’ 5-2 win against the Twins on Saturday.
The Diamondbacks head back to Chase Field to start a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants on Monday.

So weak! You caught my drift too. This isn't Little League. The age-old concept isn't simply retribution it's you can't get excused whether incompetence or intent at this high level--yet TL tolerates the and it's about standing up for your guys, a life lesson that starts at the youngest ages.
BTW-Doesn't it seem the DBs have been frequently victimized by wild inferior arms from low end teams?

Did the Dbacks rush the pitcher mound? Or did TL went out to hold hands and sing kumbaya with the Twins pitcher? Remember Geno being hit a lot this summer and the Dbacks didn't do anything. Of course, I am an old timer and in my days, you rush the mound or you pluck the first batter in the next inning or threw some chin music or all of this. It seems to me that there have been a bunch of HBPs to the Dbacks this year.
