Curd & Q Burger at Chase Field not too messy, receives passing grade

Arizona Sports’ very own Derek Montilla broke his very own cardinal rule of eating ball park food before he even took a bite of Burger Burger’s Curd & Q Burger at Chase Field: never order something messy.
A one-third pound burger patty layered on top of a bed of cole slaw, smothered in barbeque pork and cheese curds on top, the Curd & Q Burger sounds like quite the mouthful.
Nonetheless, Montilla braved the challenge with holiday optimism this Memorial Day, and was rewarded with a pleasant surprise.
“Outside of the cheese curds, I would say that this burger is absolutely amazing,” Montilla said. “It’s actually less messy than I thought it would be. This is napkin-free Derek right now. I am free and wild and eating and loving every minute of it!”
We hear you, Derek. Cheese curds are really more of a side dish rather than a topping anyway.
This was the third installment of D-backs Snacks this season. Montilla also ate a $28 hot dog on Cinco de Mayo and tacos from a Tai’s Tacos, a food truck inspired by D-backs pitcher Taijuan Walker.
