Opening Day has arrived! The Arizona Diamondbacks will begin their 2026 season on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The D-backs will play their opening three-game series in L.A. before returning to Arizona for their home opener on Monday against the Detroit Tigers.

Zac Gallen will take the mound for Arizona and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start for the Dodgers.

Gallen is coming off a career-worst 4.83 ERA last year and will be looking to return to his 2023 All-Star form. Meanwhile, Yamamoto is heading into 2026 looking to improve on his stellar 2.49 ERA across 173.2 innings pitched in 2025, which earned him a spot in the All-Star Game and and a third-place finish in Cy Young voting.
