Diamondbacks-Giants Cactus League game start time moved up

The Arizona Diamondbacks’ start time for their Cactus League matchup against the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale on Saturday has been moved up.

The game’s first pitch at Scottsdale Stadium is now scheduled for 12:05 p.m. The game’s original first pitch was set for 1:05 p.m.

The reasoning for the move in times was not made known.

Tickets for the game as it was originally scheduled are still valid.

Diamondbacks wrapping up Cactus League action this weekend

Following Saturday’s matchup, the D-backs will wrap up Cactus League play on Sunday with spilt squad games against the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch in Glendale and San Diego Padres at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale.

The D-backs will then face the Cleveland Guardians for two exhibition games on March 24 and 25 at Chase Field before hosting the Chicago Cubs on Opening Day on March 27.
