Arizona Diamondbacks top-ranked prospect Demetrio Crisantes and pitching prospect Joe Ariola were named 2026 National League Fall Stars for their performance in the Arizona Fall League.

The Fall Stars Game is on Sunday at Salt River Fields.

Crisantes, an infielder, has slashed .266/.347/.391 in 16 games for the Salt River Rafters, as he is second in the AFL with six doubles. He also has seven stolen bases.

The 22-year-old from Nogales hit .292 with 10 home runs in 92 minor league games this past season, dominating in Double-A (.961 OPS) and going through some growing pains in Triple-A (.755 OPS).

He was a seventh-round pick in 2022, and the D-backs will need to place him on their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 Draft this offseason.

Crisantes came in at No. 84 on MLB Pipeline’s top 100 prospects list at the end of the season, largely due to his hit tool.

Ariola, a 22-year-old southpaw, has struck out nine hitters with no walks in 6.1 innings in the AFL, entering Wednesday. He has allowed two runs on six hits.

The lefty was a seventh-round pick in the 2025 MLB Draft out of Wake Forest and worked a 1.56 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 34.2 minor league innings during the 2026 campaign.

The Home Run Derby at Salt River Fields is on Saturday, and the postseason will start pretty quickly after Fall Stars weekend, with the quarterfinals on Nov. 12.
