The D-backs won the first two games at Kauffman Stadium in extra innings, taking a dramatic 5-3 victory in 11 innings on Tuesday.

Arizona starting pitcher Zac Gallen is set to make his return from the injured list, with fellow returning pitcher Michael Soroka slated to take the hill in relief.

I have to say that I am really anxious to see how Gallen pitches. Will he have made the same adjustments to long-term variances that Pfaadt did? Was he in need of that and if so did it help? Gallen has been good in the past. A part of me hopes that this was the issue, his ego stepped aside and he allowed a re-adjustment. And it will give him what he needs to come back to the pitcher he wants to be and contribute. The long-term Dback fan in me sincerely hopes so.
Now a rain delay. Sigh. I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see.
GO DBACKS! Good Luck Gallen, and Soroka who I am not worried about.
