Diamondbacks to host 7th annual Race Against Cancer

The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will host its 7th annual Race Against Cancer on Sunday, March 31 at Chase Field.

The D-backs Foundation hosts this event every year to benefit non-profit organizations in Arizona that provide screening, treatment and support to those dealing with any type of cancer.

The event will consist of a 5K run and a 1 mile Family Fun Walk, both beginning and ending at Chase Field.

The 5K requires a $40 registration fee and will start at 7:15 a.m., while the Family Fun Walk requires a $20 fee for ages 13 and up and will start at 8:30 a.m.

Fans can also make donations to the fundraiser and be rewarded with a variety of Diamondbacks themed incentives.
