Ketel Marte finishes high on MLB Network’s top 100 list ahead of 2026 season

Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte was named by MLB Network as one of the top 100 players ahead of the 2026 season.

Spots 20-11 were unveiled on Wednesday night and Marte came in at No. 19. He dropped one spot from last year’s rankings.

Marte joins teammate Geraldo Perdomo, who appeared at No. 24 on the list.

Marte is coming off a 2025 season in which he slashed .283/.376./517 with 28 home runs and 72 RBIs despite missing most of April with a hamstring strain.

He was named the starting second baseman in the All-Star Game for the third time in his career. For his efforts, Marte won his second consecutive Silver Slugger Award.

Marte and Perdomo will be playing for the Dominican Republic in the 2026 World Baseball Classic in March.

Corbin Carroll notably has yet to be named on the top 100 list. He appeared at No. 32 when the 2025 preseason rankings dropped.

The top 10 players will be revealed on Thursday at 6 p.m.
