Arizona Sports obtained surveillance footage and audio Thursday showing a 2025 burglary at a house owned by Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte.

The footage and audio from a 911 call of the burglary near Shea Boulevard and 64th Street was obtained via a public records request from the Scottsdale Police Department

The caller told a dispatcher of an alleged robbery taking place at her boyfriend’s cousin’s house, and that house belonged to a baseball player, whom she later identified as Marte. The caller added that a window was broken and items were taken from the home.

The incident took place while Marte and his family were in Atlanta for the All-Star Game last July. Nobody was at home at the time of the crime.

There were signs of forced entry into the house, and “numerous” personal items, including approximately $500,000 worth of jewelry, were stolen from the home, according to Scottsdale police.

The case remains open, but the investigation has stalled, according to ABC15.

And the point of this is what? By the way in case we all forgot, after the All-Star Game, he didn't rush home to deal with the home invasion and alleged theft of personal property ... he went to the Dominican Republic ... what???
