Devin Booker, Jalen Green both available against 76ers

Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker and guard Jalen Green are available Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers at Mortgage Matchup Center, the team announced.
Booker was ruled questionable on Friday, which was an upgrade as he’s missed the past seven games with an ankle sprain.
The Suns also listed guard Green (right hamstring injury management/left hip contusion) questionable on Friday after he had missed the previous three games.
Head coach Jordan Ott told reporters they are both still day-to-day on Friday and confirmed they would be available pregame on Saturday.
Grayson Allen (sprained right knee) and Isaiah Livers (sprained left shoulder) are both out after leaving Thursday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors with injuries. Allen landed on an opposing player’s foot in the fourth quarter and left the game. Ott said he underwent imaging and it did not seem “extreme.”
Allen has been an offensive force in the absence of Booker and Green, scoring 20.1 points per game over the past seven contests.
Livers went back to the locker room after colliding with Warriors forward Draymond Green.
Ott said Allen and Livers would be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.
76ers injury report
Philadelphia star center Joel Embiid is questionable for right knee injury management. He played 39 minutes on Thursday in a 119-115 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in which he scored 35 points with seven rebounds and two blocks. After playing only 19 games last season due to injury, Embiid is up to 30 games played this year with a 26.4 points-per-game average.
Paul George is out as he serves a 25-game suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy.
The Suns defeated the 76ers on Jan. 20 in Philadelphia, a game in which Booker scored 27 points and Embiid did not play.
Saturday’s game in Phoenix starts at 7 p.m. MST on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.

Green has become so fragile That I think once healthy, whenever that is, We utilize him as a spark plug player off the bench. Commit him to 10 to 12 minutes a game for a quick scoring boost and get him out of the game before he breaks a fingernail or stubs his toe into the backboard support. Otherwise wrap him in bubble wrap and ship him back to Amazon as a defective product……
The Celtics salary-dumped Porzingis $30 million expiring contract after losing Tatum to the torn Achilles tendon. Al Horford signed with the Warriors. Celtics assumed they would have a down season. Instead Jaylen Brown played like an MVP and the Celtics are 34-18 and 2nd in the East.
Celtics decided to take advantage of the opportunity and swapped Anfernee Simons for Nikola Vucevic. The trade has invigorated Vucevic and helped fuel Boston's come from behind victory over Miami. This is what I envisioned for Phoenix.
But no, they decided to remain small.
No, Green is highly unlikely to play a significant number of regular season games. Green gets his jollies out of cashing paychecks, not playing games. The only hope Suns fans have, is that he'll treat the playoffs differently and won't allow himself to be sidelines with an ouchie.
