It didn’t take more than two minutes into his return for Tuesday night’s 115-111 loss to the Orlando Magic for Phoenix Suns’ Dillon Brooks to collect a technical foul.

At 10:31 in the first quarter, Brooks was teed up by an official after Wendell Carter Jr. stole the ball from him.

Because Brooks has already reached the 16 allowance for an automatic one-game suspension, every two additional technicals will earn him one-game suspensions.

He totaled nine points (4-of-13 shooting), five rebounds and a turnover in his return after missing 18 games, in which Phoenix went 9-9, due to a left hand fracture.

Brooks entered Tuesday averaging 20.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 50 games played this season.
